The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of German Oldenburg at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were rolled over by Lithuanian Rytas 105-59. Another upset was a game between Turkish Tofas and Serbian Spartak , which took place in Subotica. Tofas lost to Spartak in a road game 69-75 on Wednesday. Malik Skalonjic notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks by Riza Pasaoglu did not help to save the game for Tofas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartak will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tofas will play against Bonn and hope to win that game.
